Licensing & Inspections

Camp Jefferson Summer Day Camp is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services’ Consumer, Environmental and Occupational Health Service under the Youth Camp Safety Act. In addition, the Camp facilities are thoroughly inspected each year by the Jefferson Township Health Department and the Jefferson Township Fire Bureau. The Camp’s lake is treated for aquatic vegetation on a regular basis by Aquatic Analysts, Inc, and the facilities are kept under repair throughout the year by the Jefferson Township Recreation Department’s park and maintenance crews. 

The Camp’s rope courses, climbing wall with vertical playpen and zip line are inspected every year and repairs and upgrades are made when needed.
